I am a public health professional who was raised in Sacramento by a single mom. I know first-hand what it's like to have to choose between my SMUD bill and buying groceries.
I believe that SMUD will better serve the community by promoting self-sufficiency, not by doubling down on an old-school monopoly. More about me
