Together, let's fight for lower energy bills and a safe climate

Learn More About Fatima
image391

It's time for new leadership at SMUD

image392

Most of us pay higher energy bills than we should

Fatima wants to help you to take more control over your energy bill.

image393

The climate crisis is real, and scary

Fatima will fight to close SMUD's five fossil fuel power plants and switch to 100% clean energy ASAP.

image394

We need leaders who reflect our changing community

Fatima grew up in Del Paso Heights. She knows firsthand what it's like to choose between paying her SMUD bill and buying groceries.

Will you join us in supporting Fatima?

"It is my honor to endorse Fatima Malik for SMUD Board."

I have known Fatima Malik for twenty years. We first met when she was a freshman in high school and from that first day, I have seen a fire and desire in her to make our world a better place.

Fatima has always been a “big picture” person; trying to make the world a better place is just who she is and it led her to a Masters Degree in Public Health.

Civic virtue is a quality I have always hoped to instill in my students, and Fatima is a shining example of using her skills and passions to make her community better.
